What's in Settings: a one-page map

Where Settings is

• Tap the gear at the top right of Home. Search, Assistant, Rooms and Automations have the same gear at the top right, and it opens the same Settings page.
• Tap Done at the top right to close it.
• The five tabs at the bottom are Home, Search, Assistant, Rooms and Automations. There is no More tab: anything older guides put under More → … is now behind this gear.

Top to bottom: every section and row

In 1.0.11 the page runs: Account → Feature guides → Sonos account → AI & Chat → Rooms & Playback → Music → Voice Assistant → News & Broadcasts → Appearance → System → Optional add-on → About → Storage & Data.

1. Account (the card at the top)

• Signed out, it shows Sign In and "Sync rooms, scenes, and cloud broadcasts"; signed in, it shows ZoneFoundry Account and "Signed in". The small text under the card is your current home's name.
• Tap it to sign in. Once signed in, it shows your profile and signed-in devices, and lets you sign out or delete the account.

2. Feature guides

• Feature guides · "See what ZoneFoundry can do and how to use it": 10 illustrated in-app guides. Each ends with "Read the full guide online", which opens the matching guide on this site.
• The three added in 1.0.11 are "Pick a room, or play in several at once", "Let Claude or ChatGPT control your speakers" and "Control your speakers from WeChat, QQ or Telegram".
• For how-tos, look here. Report a problem under About is a feedback form, not help.

3. Sonos account

• Before you link Sonos, there is just a Connect Sonos button.
• Once linked there are three rows: a status row (for example "Connected · N rooms", with System status & fixes underneath; tap it to check and fix things); Sonos system (switch here if one account has more than one Sonos system); and the red Disconnect Sonos account (asks to confirm; afterwards you need to sign in to Sonos again to control your speakers).

4. AI & Chat (after sign-in, no bridge)

• AI access · "Let AI assistants like Claude and ChatGPT play music and control your speakers".
• Messaging entrances · "Send a message in WeChat, QQ or Telegram to control your speakers"; once linked, the row shows it as connected.

5. Rooms & Playback

• Playback Defaults: choose the default room. Voice and text requests that don't name a room play here.
• Manage Rooms: rename rooms and adjust sound and home theater settings. See TV and home theater sound.
• Replace queue by default switch: "Play Now replaces the queue instead of adding to it. Long-press for Play Next and Play Last."
• Launch to Now Playing switch: "When music is playing, opening the app goes straight to the player."
• Control Sonos with volume keys switch: when on, the phone's side buttons change the current room's Sonos volume.
• Volume steps: how much each press changes the volume, shared by the side buttons and the −/+ on the player; 2 to 10.

6. Music (link Sonos first)

• The music service list: Apple Music, Spotify, QQ Music, NetEase Cloud Music and Plex. Each row shows whether it is linked, with a Link or Disconnect button; Apple Music may also need Authorize this iPhone. The footer notes that services linked in Sonos search and play here with no bridge. Steps are in Linking music services.
• Music Service Preferences · "Preferred service for voice requests".
• Refresh Sonos Library: after changing favorites or playlists in Sonos, tap to pull the latest right away.

7. Voice Assistant

• Voice input language.
• Lower volume while I speak switch (called Voice duck in earlier versions).
• Assistant voice replies switch: reads the assistant's replies aloud. Off by default.
• Full-screen voice mode switch: when on, long-pressing the mic opens a full-screen voice conversation; when off, a panel slides up from the bottom.

8. News & Broadcasts

• News & broadcast language.
• Broadcast & News Volume · "How loud news and announcements play".

9. Appearance

Interface language and light / dark mode. After changing the language you may need to reopen the app.

10. System

• Focus Mode, with On or Off on the right.
• Permissions, with a summary on the right.

11. Optional add-on (the only bridge section)

• Home bridge · "Adds Apple Home, arrive/leave triggers and faster local control". When the bridge is online the row shows Connected; with no bridge, or when it is offline, it shows nothing, which is normal.
• Footer: "Everything else works without a bridge." To install one, see the home bridge guide.

12. About

• Version.
• Report a problem: the in-app feedback form (called Help & Feedback in earlier versions).
• Privacy Policy and Terms of Service: open the pages on this site.

13. Storage & Data (at the bottom)

• Clear Image Cache: deletes only the cover art saved on this phone, after asking to confirm.
• Clear my cloud data (red, asks to confirm). The confirmation reads: "Removes voice transcripts, location, and learned preferences stored on our server. Scenes, favorites, and music services are not affected."

Where things were in earlier versions

In 1.0.9 and 1.0.10 the sections were: Account → Feature guides → Sonos account → Devices → Music → Appearance → Storage → Audio & Voice → System → Connections → Advanced (Bridge) → About. Old paths map to today's like this:

Unchanged: the account card, Feature guides, the three Sonos account rows, the music service list and Music Service Preferences, Appearance, System (Focus Mode / Permissions), and Version / Privacy Policy / Terms of Service.

FAQ

An older guide says More → …. Where is that now?

There is no More tab any more. Settings is the gear at the top right of every tab.

An older guide says Settings → Connections → Messaging entrances?

From 1.0.11 it is Settings → AI & Chat → Messaging entrances. In 1.0.9 and 1.0.10 it is still under Connections.

Can't find the bridge setting?

From 1.0.11 it is Settings → Optional add-on → Home bridge; earlier versions call it Advanced (Bridge) → Bridges. With no bridge installed the row shows no status, which is normal.

Where do I find how a feature works?

The second row in Settings, Feature guides. Report a problem under About is a feedback form, not help.

Why aren't alarms, Follow-Me and wellness reminders in Settings?

They are in the Automations tab at the bottom.
